KVKK Clarification Notice
This notice explains how Ramarossi handles personal data provided through wedding enquiries, consultations and the wedding-planning services we arrange. It is provided under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Updated: 19 October 2026

2. What We Collect and How
We collect information you or an authorised representative provide when contacting Ramarossi through our website enquiry forms, email, telephone, WhatsApp, consultations, correspondence, proposals and signed agreements. Records may be collected and handled electronically or in documents used for wedding planning.
Depending on the stage of your enquiry or booking, this can include:
- Identity and contact details: names, email addresses, phone numbers and communication preferences.
- Wedding requirements: event date, location, guest count, budget, venue preferences, event schedule and design priorities.
- Contract and financial records: agreed services, signatures, invoice details and bank-transfer payment records. We do not take wedding payments through website checkout.
- Guest and special requirements: information reasonably needed for agreed event logistics, such as accommodation, transport, dietary needs or voluntarily provided cultural and religious ceremony details.
- Technical information: website access and security data such as IP addresses, browser information, cookies and anti-spam signals, where relevant to the website service.
Health, religious or other special-category information is handled only where necessary for the requested activity and a permitted condition under KVKK Article 6 applies. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.
3. Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing
Under KVKK Article 5, the purposes and relevant legal conditions for ordinary personal data can include:
- Enquiries and proposals: using contact and wedding-preference details to respond to your request, assess availability and prepare an individual proposal, where necessary for steps requested before a contract (Article 5/2(c)).
- Wedding planning and delivery: handling client, event and supplier-coordination information necessary to perform the agreed wedding services (Article 5/2(c)).
- Invoices and financial records: processing necessary booking and bank-transfer information to meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations (Article 5/2(ç) and, where directly prescribed by law, 5/2(a)).
- Disputes and legal requests: maintaining relevant records where necessary to establish, exercise or protect a legal right (Article 5/2(e)).
- Website and communications security: using appropriate technical records to protect systems and prevent abuse where necessary for legitimate interests that do not override individual rights (Article 5/2(f)), or for a separate applicable legal obligation.
Where a processing activity requires explicit consent, including certain special-category data uses or promotional use of identifiable wedding media, consent is requested separately. This notice itself is information, not a request for blanket consent.
4. Recipients and Reasons for Sharing
Only the information needed for the relevant purpose may be shared with:
- Venues, hotels and wedding suppliers: to assess or organise the requested ceremony, reception, accommodation, catering, entertainment, production or guest arrangements.
- Business service providers: including email, communication, website hosting, anti-spam and IT services, to manage enquiries and maintain secure systems.
- Banks, accountants and professional advisers: for company payments, invoicing, accounting, contractual administration and legal matters.
- Competent public authorities: where disclosure is required under applicable law.
Because Ramarossi works with international couples and uses communication and technology services, some recipients may process information outside Türkiye. Any international transfer must have an applicable lawful basis and satisfy KVKK Article 9 requirements.
5. Retention and Data Protection
Personal data is kept only for the relevant enquiry, contractual, operational or legal purpose and any mandatory retention period. Access is restricted as appropriate, and information is deleted, destroyed or anonymised when the relevant legal conditions are met.
More information about categories of data, retention and the website’s security and cookie-related practices is provided in our Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection Policy.
6. Your Rights Under KVKK Article 11
Subject to the conditions of the law, you may:
- learn whether your personal data is being processed and request information if it is;
- learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose;
- learn the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data has been transferred;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request deletion or destruction where the conditions apply, and relevant notifications to recipients;
- object to a result against you based solely on automated analysis; and
- claim compensation for harm resulting from unlawful processing.
7. Contact and Data Rights Requests
