Last updated: 11 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ramarossi collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data when individuals visit ramarossi.com, submit a wedding enquiry, communicate with us or purchase wedding-planning and related services. It also explains the rights available under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

2. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to website visitors, prospective clients, clients, couples, guests and other individuals whose personal data is provided to Ramarossi in connection with an enquiry or wedding service. If a person supplies personal data about another individual, that person should ensure that the other individual has been informed and is entitled to provide the information.
3. Personal data we collect
3.1 Information submitted through the wedding enquiry form
The contact form may collect:
full name, email address and telephone or WhatsApp number;
booking readiness and expected decision timeframe;
wedding date, preferred location and approximate guest count;
nationality of the bride and groom;
single-day or multi-day wedding preferences and requested events;
beverage, venue, accommodation and civil-marriage preferences;
wedding priorities, estimated budget and referral source;
cultural or religious requirements that an individual chooses to provide; and
additional messages, questions and information entered in free-text fields.
Nationality is collected to help us understand practical, language, travel and documentation requirements. We do not use nationality to infer ethnicity or make discriminatory decisions.
3.2 Sensitive personal data
Information about religion, beliefs or certain cultural traditions may constitute special-category or sensitive personal data. Providing this information is optional. Where it is submitted, Ramarossi processes it only to plan the requested ceremony or cultural elements and only on the basis of explicit consent or another lawful condition expressly permitted by applicable law. Refusing to provide it will not prevent an individual from submitting an enquiry, although it may limit our ability to plan the relevant cultural or religious element.
3.3 Client, contract and legal-marriage information
If an enquiry proceeds, we may collect contract details, signatures, billing and bank-transfer records, identity documents, passport details, marital-status information, civil-marriage documents, information required by venues or authorities, supplier preferences, timelines, guest information and other details necessary to deliver the agreed services. Ramarossi does not accept website payments and does not collect or store payment-card details through the website. Payments are made by bank transfer to the company’s bank account.
3.4 Communications
We retain communications relating to an enquiry or service, including email, telephone notes and WhatsApp messages, together with information voluntarily provided during consultations, venue visits or planning meetings.
3.5 Photographs and video
Wedding photographs, video and audio may identify clients and guests. We use wedding media for service delivery and, only where the applicable contract or a separate permission allows it, for Ramarossi’s website, portfolio, social-media channels and advertising. Clients may refuse marketing use without affecting the wedding-planning service. A later withdrawal applies prospectively and may not affect material already lawfully printed, published or distributed before the withdrawal, although we will take reasonable steps regarding digital material under our control.
3.6 Website, device and anti-spam data
When the website is used, technical data may be collected automatically, including IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, date and time, form-submission security signals, cookie identifiers and interaction data. This information may be processed through website hosting and security systems, Meta Pixel, Google reCAPTCHA and CleanTalk Anti-Spam, where enabled.
4. Purposes and legal grounds
We process personal data only where a lawful ground is available. Depending on the activity and applicable law, the grounds may include taking steps at an individual’s request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, establishing or protecting legal rights, legitimate interests that do not override individual rights, and explicit consent.
Enquiries and proposals. To respond to requests, assess feasibility, recommend venues and services, prepare proposals, schedule consultations and conduct reasonable follow-up concerning the specific enquiry.
Wedding planning and service delivery. To negotiate and perform contracts; coordinate venues, suppliers and authorities; arrange ceremonies and events; manage schedules, guest requirements, accommodation and transport; and provide support before, during and after the event.
Legal marriage support. To review, prepare, translate or submit documents and communicate with municipal, consular or other competent authorities when this service has been requested.
Administration and legal compliance. To issue invoices, reconcile bank transfers, keep accounting and commercial records, manage complaints and disputes, prevent fraud, protect legal rights and comply with lawful requests.
Website security and measurement. To prevent spam and abuse, secure the website, troubleshoot performance, understand aggregate website usage and measure advertising effectiveness. Meta Pixel is not used by Ramarossi to create remarketing audiences.
Wedding media. To deliver photography and videography services and, where permission has been granted, display selected material for portfolio, social-media and advertising purposes.
We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.
5. Enquiry follow-up and marketing
Ramarossi does not operate a newsletter. If someone submits an enquiry, we may reply and make reasonable follow-up contact by email, telephone or WhatsApp about that specific wedding request. Promotional communication unrelated to the original request will be sent only where the consent or other legal requirement applicable to electronic marketing has been satisfied. An individual may ask us to stop follow-up or promotional contact at any time by replying to the message or contacting info@ramarossi.com.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The website may use necessary cookies for functionality and security and, subject to the visitor’s cookie choices where required, advertising-measurement technologies. Meta Pixel may receive cookie identifiers, IP address, device/browser information, visited pages and conversion events for advertising measurement. We do not use website-visitor data to build Google or Meta remarketing audiences.
Google reCAPTCHA and CleanTalk Anti-Spam may process IP address, browser, device, interaction and form-submission information to distinguish genuine users from automated abuse. Their use is subject to the relevant provider’s privacy terms. Non-essential technologies should be activated only after the visitor has made an appropriate cookie choice. Visitors can change browser settings and, where available, use the website’s cookie settings to withdraw or amend consent.
7. Who receives personal data
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose only the information reasonably necessary to:
venues, hotels, caterers, florists, decorators, rental companies, photographers, videographers, musicians, entertainers, beauty providers, transport providers and other wedding suppliers;
municipalities, civil registries, consulates, translators, notaries, legal advisers and other competent authorities involved in a requested legal-marriage process;
website hosting, IT support, cybersecurity, email, anti-spam, communications, analytics and advertising-measurement providers;
banks, accountants, auditors, insurers and professional advisers; and
courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other recipients where disclosure is legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Supplier details are shared on a need-to-know basis. When a supplier acts independently, its own privacy policy may also apply.
8. International data transfers
Ramarossi is established in Türkiye and serves international clients. Some service providers or recipients may process data outside Türkiye or outside the individual’s country. Proton Mail stores encrypted data on servers located in Switzerland, Germany or Norway. Meta and Google services, including WhatsApp, Meta Pixel and Google reCAPTCHA, may involve processing in multiple countries, including countries whose data-protection rules differ from those in Türkiye, the EEA or the United Kingdom.
International transfers are made only where a permitted legal mechanism applies. Depending on the transfer and applicable law, this may include an adequacy decision, an appropriate safeguard such as an approved standard contract, a transfer necessary for a requested contract or legal claim, or explicit consent where legally valid. Additional technical and organisational safeguards may include access controls, encryption, data minimisation and contractual restrictions.
9. Retention periods
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose and any mandatory legal period. The following periods are the general Ramarossi standard; a longer or shorter period may apply where required by law, a dispute, an authority request or a documented operational need.
| Data category | Standard retention period |
| Active enquiries | For the active discussion and up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless the person asks us to stop sooner. |
| Closed unsuccessful enquiries | Deleted within 1 month after the enquiry is marked closed. Sensitive cultural or religious information is deleted with the enquiry. |
| Operational wedding-planning records | Normally up to 2 years after the event, unless selected records are needed for a contract, complaint or legal claim. |
| Contracts, invoices, bank-transfer and accounting records | 10 years or any longer mandatory period calculated under applicable commercial, tax or accounting law. |
| Passports, identity copies and legal-marriage documents | Only for the relevant procedure and normally deleted within 90 days after completion, unless an authority, legal obligation or active claim requires longer retention. |
| Wedding photographs and video used for marketing | Until the permission is withdrawn or the material is no longer needed. Evidence of permission may be retained for the applicable legal limitation period. |
| Security and technical logs | Generally up to 12 months, unless a shorter provider setting applies or a security incident requires longer preservation. |
| Cookie and consent records | For the duration shown in the cookie settings or provider information and as necessary to record the visitor’s choice. |
Deletion from active systems may be followed by deletion from encrypted backups during the normal backup-rotation cycle. Where complete deletion is not immediately possible, access will be restricted and the data will not be used for new purposes.
10. Data security
We use proportionate administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including restricted access, password controls, secure communications, encrypted email services where available, supplier confidentiality requirements and data minimisation. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Individual rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, an individual may have the right to:
learn whether personal data is processed and request information about the processing;
learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used consistently with that purpose;
learn the recipients to whom personal data has been transferred in Türkiye or abroad;
request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
request deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met, and notification of correction or deletion to relevant recipients;
object to a result arising against the individual through analysis exclusively by automated systems; and
claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, additional rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, withdrawal of consent and a complaint to the competent supervisory authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
To make a request, contact info@ramarossi.com or write to the registered address in Section 1. Please describe the request clearly and provide enough information for us to verify identity without collecting excessive additional data. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. KVKK complaints may also be submitted to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority in accordance with its procedures.
12. Third-party websites and services
The website may link to social-media platforms, messaging services, venues, suppliers or other third-party websites. Ramarossi does not control those services and is not responsible for their privacy practices. Individuals should review the relevant third party’s privacy information before providing data directly to it.
13. Children
Our website and enquiry service are intended for adults. We do not knowingly request enquiries from children under 18. Information about guests who are minors should be provided only where necessary for the wedding service and by a parent, guardian or other person authorised to provide it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate additional notice.
